Administration costs versus project donations

100% to the Children strive to be a complete transparent organization, where our sponsors fully control what they want to support, and with how much. We do not use any funds given to projects by individuals or companies for the meeting of our administration costs.

We depend on individuals signing up for membership and companies to choose an administrative sponsorship in order to achieve the organizational goal of canalizing your money 100% to the children of Mombasa.

Donations to 100% to the Children's projects are qualified as tax-deductible by the Danish tax authorities. In order to keep this status, our administration costs cannot excede 10% of the funds earmarked by sponsors for projects. Furthermore, individuals can only support our administration with funds through their membership fees.

The extent of our support to iniatives for children depends on a great number of individual members and on business associations to sponsor our administration*.

100% to the Children was initially thought to be an organization mainly based on volunteer work forces, and we aim to keep it that way. However, some members of our team are spending all of their time working for and with the children and as we do want professional project management & coordination, a respectable home page, well educated teachers, proper caretakers for the nursery schools, etc. we are raising funds for those professsionals working with the coordination and realization of our projects.

Our administration costs consists mainly of salaries for full time professionals and travel costs.

*A sponsorship made by Danish companies to our administration - in exchange for the company name & logo at our website - is tax deductable according to the Danish tax law.
