The idea for 100% to the Children arose after a trip to Africa and India in 2007 where I was working with orphans and underprivileged children. On this journey, I saw for the first time how acutely the children in developing countries need help, how much children suffer when a country suffers and how little it takes to make a difference in a child's life.
100% to the Children is driven by a wish to be the instrument for getting support to children in developing countries in the form of financial aid, product sponsorships and sponsorships of individual children, and for establishing a physical presence for launching and leading projects and initiatives with funds directly from our sponsors to the individual child or children's project.
This is why we call our organization '100% to the Children', because everything that you donate goes uncut to the purpose you have chosen.
100% to the Children wishes to carry out all tasks and projects 100%.
We believe in microphilanthropic project management and have therefore no wish to grow into a big organization fast.
We want to be the best non-profit organization for the world, and we believe that we can do just that by conducting thorough research, by being where the need is present and acute and by establishing reliable contacts and a strong network in the country, as well as being there ourselves. And with the help and support of our friends all over the world.
100% to the Children provides continuous, long-lasting support for projects with the potential to become self-sustainable in the future and we work independently from religious and political interests. |
